Empathy / When medical students first deal with death

This may look odd to have on a therapy blog, but I think it shows how important it is to have empathy. It does not matter how much a doctor knows, what school they attended, or how posh  their office is; if they do not have empathy, they have nothing. Read some of the comments afterwards.  They reflect how the empathy of a helping professional can be very healing for the family who lost a loved one.  Don’t we all wish for that empathic doctor, nurse, or other helper?
