I was looking at how technology has made everything faster and more demanding. We can be tugged in so many different ways. Then, I thought of all of my ADD clients. A great way to organize yourself is to utilize Google calendar. It will sync on your laptop, desktop and phone. You can also color-code appointments. I use it myself. I recommend clients check it right before bed and during morning coffee to see what they have scheduled for the day.
Also, what about all the other things we have? A great organization book is Organizing From The Inside Out by Julie Morgenstern. She also has a super book called Time Management From The Inside Out. Both address our changing needs, our psychological needs, and, most importantly, they get you to style a system that works best for you – not your mom.
